Hello and welcome to Sugar Booger Sweets!

My name is Heather and this blog is a way for me to share my most loved recipes with my friends and family. I like to try different recipes from all different cookbooks, friends, Pinterest, all different websites and make them my own…as well as some of my creations over the years.

I grew up in southeast Michigan next door to my grandparent’s greenhouse and flower shop along with my brothers and sister. During high school, my family and I moved to Alaska where I lived for about 2 1/2 years. While my parents and brothers all still live in Alaska, I now live back in Michigan with my wonderful husband, Jason, and our pug named Abby. 

I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, spending time with my husband, and of course cooking and eating good food! Sometimes I like to make elaborate meals, where other times I like to keep it simple. If you like to cook and want some new morsels to taste give my recipes a try. Put your own spin on each dish to make it your own creation and have fun!
